Monofacial solar cells
Monofacial solar cells are single-layer, single-sided solar cells that collect sunlight only on their front side and convert it into electricity. Their back side is made with a closed, non-transparent protective film, so they do not utilize reflected light like bifacial types. This solution is the most common for solar systems in family homes, small shops and offices, as it is cost-effective, reliable and easy to install.
Modern monofacial solar panels are made with monocrystalline PERC or TOPCon cells, which provide high energy conversion efficiency even in cloudy weather. The panels have a glass-film structure, are lightweight, weather-resistant and come with a 25-year performance guarantee. They are an excellent choice if you are looking for a stable, long-term and proven technology-based solution for solar energy generation.
