Warranty and product support
In our online store, we only offer solar products from reliable, official European sources. All products have a manufacturer's warranty, which can be enforced according to the official warranty conditions of the given brand.
Warranty period and validity
The warranty period may vary depending on the manufacturer and product type:
- For inverters , the basic warranty is usually 5–10 years, which in many cases can be extended to 15–20 years if connected to the manufacturer's online system (e.g. SolaX Cloud, FusionSolar, SolarEdge Monitoring Portal).
- For solar panels, the product warranty is typically 12–25 years, while the performance warranty can be up to 25–30 years, depending on the type and manufacturer (e.g. Tongwei, Trina, JA Solar, LONGi).
- Batteries (e.g. BYD, Dyness, Huawei, SolaX) usually have a performance warranty of 10 years or a specific energy delivery cycle (MWh)
- For car chargers, optimizers, communication modules and installation accessories, the warranty period is usually 2–5 years.
The warranty applies to intended use, professional installation and operation with original product parts. The warranty remains valid only if the installation and commissioning have been carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Reporting a warranty claim
In case of a warranty claim, please send the following information to our customer service:
- product type and serial number,
- proof of purchase or invoice,
- a brief description of the error and the time the error appeared,
- (for inverters) log file or error message, if available.
Our employees will contact you after receiving the report and help you with the administration with the manufacturer. In some cases, the warranty process takes place directly in the manufacturer's system (e.g. Huawei, Deye, SolarEdge), where the error can be reported via an online form or by email.
Repair, replacement and delivery
The manufacturer may repair or replace the defective product at its discretion. During the warranty period, the manufacturer may use the following solutions:
- repair or replacement of parts,
- providing a replacement device (new or refurbished product),
- partial or full refund of the purchase price.
Shipping costs may vary by manufacturer. Typically, the manufacturer will cover the return shipping of the defective product, however, removal, reinstallation, and other labor costs are not covered by the warranty.
Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following cases:
- unprofessional or unauthorized installation,
- incorrect operation, maintenance or installation,
- external physical impact, overvoltage, lightning damage or water damage,
- product purchased from an unofficial source,
- opening the product packaging or removing the serial number.
Important information
- Our web store only provides the manufacturer's warranty, not an installation or construction warranty.
- If the product was not purchased from us, or the defect is not caused by manufacturing, the cost of inspection and shipping will be borne by the customer.
- For some manufacturers (e.g. Huawei, SolaX, SolarEdge), a continuous online connection to the system is a condition of the warranty.
