Product description
Product description
The Deye BOS-G Pro series is a rack-mountable, high-voltage energy storage system designed for small to medium-sized industrial, commercial, and community energy storage projects. The modular design, advanced BMS monitoring, and high-current performance make the system suitable for both grid-connected and self-consumption applications.
- Deye BOS-G25 Pro – 25.6 kWh
- Deye BOS-G40 Pro – 40.96 kWh
- Deye BOS-G60 Pro – 61.44 kWh
- Deye BOS-G80 Pro – 81.92 kWh
The system is based on 5.12 kWh high-voltage modules (BOS-G-Pack5.1), which are connected in series to achieve the desired capacity. The BOS-G25 model contains 5 modules and the BOS-G80 contains 16 modules, with nominal voltages ranging from 256 to 819 V. The rack-mounted design allows for rapid expansion and safe operation, while the entire system supports the parallel operation of up to 16 racks - this can mean hundreds of kilowatt-hours of storage capacity.
The batteries are built with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, which ensure long life (≥6000 cycles) and stable temperature tolerance. The built-in intelligent BMS protects the cells against overcharging, overdischarging, overheating and overcurrent, and automatically balances each module. The system also supports direct communication with Deye inverters (CAN / RS485), as well as remote monitoring and firmware updates.
The IP20-protected rack version is maintenance-friendly and designed to comply with 19” standards, and the BOS-G-PDU-2 control module provides system monitoring up to 100–120 A current. The devices operate in a temperature range of –20 °C to +55 °C and have a 10-year manufacturer's warranty.
- Available capacities: 25.6 / 40.96 / 61.44 / 81.92 kWh
- 5.12 kWh per module, rack-mounted, high voltage (HV) design
- LiFePO₄ (LFP) cells – cobalt-free, safe technology
- Expandability: up to 16 racks in parallel
- Intelligent BMS with overcharge, overcurrent and thermal protection
- Deye BOS-G-PDU-2 high voltage control unit integrated
- Compatible with Deye hybrid inverters
- Natural cooling, quiet and reliable operation
- IP20 protection, rack mountable according to 19” standard
- 6000+ cycles, 90% DOD, 10 year warranty
- Certifications: UN38.3, CE, IEC62040, VDE, CE-EMC
The Deye BOS-G Pro series is specifically designed for small and medium-sized commercial energy storage systems. Its rack-mounted, modular design, high-voltage architecture, and integration with the Deye communication system provide a reliable, efficient, and long-term sustainable energy storage solution.

How do I choose the right battery?
How do I choose the right battery?
The most important thing is that the battery fits your inverter and the performance of your system. It is worth considering how much capacity (kWh) you need and whether you want to expand the system later.
Always check the inverter's technical data sheet, as it will tell you which batteries it is compatible with. For example, Huawei inverters only work with Huawei batteries, while Deye inverters can be connected to multiple manufacturers, offering a more flexible solution.
How do inverter types differ?
How do inverter types differ?
The lifespan of modern lithium batteries is usually 10–15 years, depending on usage and temperature conditions.
Manufacturers typically give an expected lifespan of 6,000–8,000 charging cycles – this can mean up to a decade and a half, assuming one cycle per day.
What happens in the event of a power outage?
What happens in the event of a power outage?
If the inverter supports backup (stand-alone) operation, it will automatically switch to the battery during a power outage, so the most important consumers continue to operate.
It is important to know that if there is no backup function, the system will completely stop in the event of a power outage, even if the solar panels are producing. This is because most on-grid inverters cannot operate without mains voltage for safety reasons, so they cannot supply power or charge batteries.
What warranty does the battery have?
What warranty does the battery have?
Depending on the manufacturer, batteries come with a 5 or 10 year warranty, and for some models this is also tied to the number of cycles. We indicate the exact warranty period on each product page, so you can always see how long the manufacturer's warranty lasts before you buy.
What happens if the battery fails?
What happens if the battery fails?
If the battery is not working properly, it is a good idea to first have the problem diagnosed by a professional to rule out incorrect setup or installation. It is possible that the problem is not with the battery itself, but with a non-activated function or communication setting.
If it is proven that there is indeed a problem with the product, you should contact the manufacturer's or distributor's customer service, who will assist you in the troubleshooting process and the warranty administration process.
