Product description
Product description
The Deye GE-FL60 and GE-FH60 are both 61.4 kWh high voltage (HV) battery cabinets designed for industrial and commercial energy storage projects. The two types are built on the same foundation, but differ in performance and application.
The main difference:
- GE-FL60 – 100 A rated current → suitable for inverters up to 30 kW
- GE-FH60 – 200 A rated current → suitable for inverters up to 60 kW
Both models contain 12 LFP (lithium iron phosphate) modules, each with a capacity of 5.12 kWh, connected in series. This technology ensures stable operation and a lifespan of more than 6,000 cycles, even at 90% deep discharge. The cabinets are IP55 protected, allowing them to be safely installed both indoors and outdoors, in environments ranging from -20 °C to +55 °C.
Safety features include an aerosol fire extinguishing system, heat and gas detectors, active ventilation and water leak detection. These provide a high level of protection at an industrial level. The systems support the black start function, so they can be started without a network and can also operate in off-grid mode.
The GE-FL60 and GE-FH60 are modularly expandable: they can be scaled up to 360 kWh in a single system and up to 3.6 MWh with multiple cabinets, making them flexible for both small and large industrial projects.
Main features in brief:
- Capacity: 61.4 kWh (12 × 5.12 kWh modules)
- LFP cells, ≥6000 cycle life
- GE-FL60: 100 A, for 30 kW inverters
- GE-FH60: for 200 A, 60 kW inverters
- Modular expandability: 360 kWh / 3.6 MWh
- Safety: aerosol extinguishing, gas and heat detectors, ventilation, water protection
- Black start and off-grid operation support
- IP55 protection, outdoor and indoor use

How do I choose the right battery?
How do I choose the right battery?
The most important thing is that the battery fits your inverter and the performance of your system. It is worth considering how much capacity (kWh) you need and whether you want to expand the system later.
Always check the inverter's technical data sheet, as it will tell you which batteries it is compatible with. For example, Huawei inverters only work with Huawei batteries, while Deye inverters can be connected to multiple manufacturers, offering a more flexible solution.
How do inverter types differ?
How do inverter types differ?
The lifespan of modern lithium batteries is usually 10–15 years, depending on usage and temperature conditions.
Manufacturers typically give an expected lifespan of 6,000–8,000 charging cycles – this can mean up to a decade and a half, assuming one cycle per day.
What happens in the event of a power outage?
What happens in the event of a power outage?
If the inverter supports backup (stand-alone) operation, it will automatically switch to the battery during a power outage, so the most important consumers continue to operate.
It is important to know that if there is no backup function, the system will completely stop in the event of a power outage, even if the solar panels are producing. This is because most on-grid inverters cannot operate without mains voltage for safety reasons, so they cannot supply power or charge batteries.
What warranty does the battery have?
What warranty does the battery have?
Depending on the manufacturer, batteries come with a 5 or 10 year warranty, and for some models this is also tied to the number of cycles. We indicate the exact warranty period on each product page, so you can always see how long the manufacturer's warranty lasts before you buy.
What happens if the battery fails?
What happens if the battery fails?
If the battery is not working properly, it is a good idea to first have the problem diagnosed by a professional to rule out incorrect setup or installation. It is possible that the problem is not with the battery itself, but with a non-activated function or communication setting.
If it is proven that there is indeed a problem with the product, you should contact the manufacturer's or distributor's customer service, who will assist you in the troubleshooting process and the warranty administration process.
