Product description
Huawei SUN2000-LC0 series single-phase hybrid inverters make energy management for small family homes safe and efficient. The series consists of two models:
- SUN2000-8K-LC0 – 8kW
- SUN2000-10K-LC0 – 10kW
A special feature of the LC0 inverters is that they have three MPP trackers, ensuring optimal energy production even when the solar panels are operating in different orientations or in partially shaded areas. The series is fully compatible with Huawei LUNA2000 batteries, which operate in the 350-560 Vdc range and provide up to 10 kW of charging and discharging power. This allows the generated energy to be used not only immediately, but also stored for later use.
In the event of a power outage, the devices offer full household-level protection with the SmartGuard-63A-S0 accessory, with a switchover time of just 20 milliseconds. This is especially important for those where uninterrupted power is a priority, such as home offices, electric gates or security systems.
The LC0 series also excels in safety features: it has built-in AFCI arc fault protection, AC/DC overvoltage protection, residual current monitoring, and terminal temperature detection. The inverter is also capable of charging the battery from the grid, for example with discounted night-time power, which increases the economy of the system.
The maximum efficiency of the device is 98.1%, and the European efficiency is 97.5%, which guarantees high energy conversion efficiency. IP66 protection, fanless natural cooling and low noise make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. In addition, the use of Huawei optimizers (450W-P2, 600W-P) can increase the system performance by up to 30%.
Main features in brief:
- Single-phase hybrid inverters, 8 and 10 kW power
- 3 MPP trackers for flexible system design
- Battery compatibility: Huawei LUNA2000-S0/S1 (350–560 Vdc)
- Max. efficiency: 98.1%, European efficiency: 97.5%
- Whole-home backup with SmartGuard-63A-S0
- Safety features: AFCI, AC/DC SPD, residual current monitoring
- Battery charging from the mains is also possible
- Optimizer Compatibility: 450W-P2, 600W-P
- IP66 protection, quiet operation, FusionSolar monitoring
The Huawei SUN2000-LC0 series is an ideal choice for those looking for a single-phase, battery-expandable, high-efficiency hybrid inverter that operates safely even during power outages.

How do I choose the right inverter?
How do I choose the right inverter?
When choosing an inverter, it is worth considering the power of the solar panels, their voltage range, the number of phases in the system (single- or three-phase), and whether you plan to expand with batteries in the future.
In the case of three-phase systems, a distinction must be made between symmetrical and asymmetrical inverters. The symmetrical type distributes the power equally across all three phases, which is an advantageous solution for simpler networks. The asymmetrical inverter, on the other hand, can regulate the power differently per phase, thus adapting more flexibly to the real consumption pattern of the house - for this reason it is usually the more practical and efficient choice for domestic systems.
When is it worth choosing a hybrid inverter?
When is it worth choosing a hybrid inverter?
It is worth choosing a hybrid inverter if you want to expand the system with battery energy storage in the future or if you want to provide the house with protection against power outages.
Hybrid models are more expensive, but offer a more flexible solution in the long term, as they can be easily integrated into the existing system later.
What happens in the event of a power outage?
What happens in the event of a power outage?
During a power outage, traditional grid-fed inverters automatically shut down to prevent power from being fed back into the utility grid for safety reasons.
Hybrid inverters, on the other hand, can operate in stand-alone, so-called backup mode, if a battery is also connected to the system. In this case, the inverter disconnects itself from the grid and uses the energy stored in the battery to continue supplying designated consumers in the house, such as lighting, a refrigerator or a router. As soon as the grid voltage returns, the inverter automatically returns to normal operation and begins recharging the battery.
What warranty does the inverter have?
What warranty does the inverter have?
The warranty is typically 5-10 years, depending on the manufacturer and model. Some manufacturers also offer extended warranties with registration. The exact duration is listed on each product page, so it's worth checking before purchasing.
What happens if the inverter fails?
What happens if the inverter fails?
As a first step, it is always recommended to diagnose the fault, because often the problem is not related to the inverter, but to the settings or the communication module.
If there is an actual failure, the distributor or manufacturer's service partner will assist with the repair or replacement process, within or beyond warranty.
