Product description
Product description
The SolaX T-BAT-SYS-HV 2.5 kWh (S25) is a smaller capacity LFP battery module, which is also an expandable element of SolaX high voltage systems. In all cases, the SolaX HS25/36 BMS control unit is required for operation, which monitors the operation of the modules and ensures communication with the inverter.
The modular design allows multiple S25 units to be connected, allowing system capacity to be expanded as needed. The advantage of the S25 module is that its smaller capacity allows it to be more precisely tailored to specific consumer needs, for example in smaller households or in the case of gradual expansion.
The special feature of the S25 is its flexibility, as smaller units allow for finer control of the system size. This can be an ideal solution for those who are starting with a small investment but want to expand their energy storage system later.
Main features in brief:
- Useful capacity: 2.5 kWh per module
- LFP cell technology, more than 6000 cycle life
- Compatible with SolaX HS25/36 BMS controller
- Modular expandability with multiple units
- 90% DOD, safe and long-term operation
- IP65 protection, outdoor and indoor use
- Remote monitoring and diagnostic support
The special feature of the SolaX S25 module is that it offers a high degree of flexibility due to its smaller capacity, making it well suited for systems requiring gradual expansion.

How do I choose the right battery?
How do I choose the right battery?
The most important thing is that the battery fits your inverter and the performance of your system. It is worth considering how much capacity (kWh) you need and whether you want to expand the system later.
Always check the inverter's technical data sheet, as it will tell you which batteries it is compatible with. For example, Huawei inverters only work with Huawei batteries, while Deye inverters can be connected to multiple manufacturers, offering a more flexible solution.
How do inverter types differ?
How do inverter types differ?
The lifespan of modern lithium batteries is usually 10–15 years, depending on usage and temperature conditions.
Manufacturers typically give an expected lifespan of 6,000–8,000 charging cycles – this can mean up to a decade and a half, assuming one cycle per day.
What happens in the event of a power outage?
What happens in the event of a power outage?
If the inverter supports backup (stand-alone) operation, it will automatically switch to the battery during a power outage, so the most important consumers continue to operate.
It is important to know that if there is no backup function, the system will completely stop in the event of a power outage, even if the solar panels are producing. This is because most on-grid inverters cannot operate without mains voltage for safety reasons, so they cannot supply power or charge batteries.
What warranty does the battery have?
What warranty does the battery have?
Depending on the manufacturer, batteries come with a 5 or 10 year warranty, and for some models this is also tied to the number of cycles. We indicate the exact warranty period on each product page, so you can always see how long the manufacturer's warranty lasts before you buy.
What happens if the battery fails?
What happens if the battery fails?
If the battery is not working properly, it is a good idea to first have the problem diagnosed by a professional to rule out incorrect setup or installation. It is possible that the problem is not with the battery itself, but with a non-activated function or communication setting.
If it is proven that there is indeed a problem with the product, you should contact the manufacturer's or distributor's customer service, who will assist you in the troubleshooting process and the warranty administration process.
